This course provides you with an insight into criminal intelligence and how intelligence gathering occurs and why.Learn the functions of an intelligence officer and how they identify the difference between information and intelligence.

Examine how gathered intelligence may include organisations performing intelligence functions, activities in which associate undertaking intelligence functions, the product or output which accomplishes the role and aims of the function in today’s society with the criminal activity in crisis and occurring globally.

You will also look at the role of skilled intelligence specialists who use a range of well-developed intelligence analytical skills. Develop and optimise use of information to make better informed judgement and gain a sound knowledge of industry criminal intelligence operations.

Distance Learning option gives you the chance to study while you work. You can study in the comfort of your own home, in your own time and at your own pace. You will have 3 months to finish this short course. AIS will continue to support you through to completion.
