The Australian Government  Investigation Standards (2011) stipulate that the Diploma in Government Investigations is the minimum level of training or qualification for people primarily engaged in the co-ordination, management or supervision of investigations.

The Diploma of Government Investigations qualification covers the competencies required of a person responsible for the coordination and conduct of investigations. It is suitable for people who apply integrated technical and theoretical concepts into a broad range of contexts and undertake senior roles in a government investigations environment.

Duration

You have up to 12 months to complete the course.

Fast track options

Applicants can apply for full or partial recognition (RPL) of their existing skills and knowledge relevant to the units of competence within the qualification. These may have been obtained through workplace training or experience and may reduce the number of units required to be completed. Contact AIS Training to apply for a free RPL assessment.

Assessment and feedback is provided pre-and post-program. Assessment methods We combine a range of assessment methods including workplace tasks, demonstrations, role-play, written reports, exercise design and conduct activities, case study reviews and project work.

Cost – Your Investment

Full qualification (11 units) – $2000 online.     Payment plans attract $45 admin fee.

Full RPL  – $1400

Note – for RPL if gaps in your knowledge are identified there will be an additional cost per unit of study required to complete the qualification.
